Chalk Painting Workshops are a great way to learn the basics of restyling furniture or décor.  We will walk through the preparation processes, tools and equipment best suited to preparing the piece.

During the workshop we will go through all the different kinds of paint types, finishing products and many tips of the trade to make light work of your items that you wish to transform.

Other topics will include brush types and experimenting and using different sponges and clothes for finishing effect and we will also go through the different types of decorative design techniques such as decoupage, stenciling and applying transfers to your pieces.

The workshops run from 10 am – 4 pm as we allow for lunch and plenty of drying time in between coats.  Lunch and refreshments are provided or a voucher to spend at the many cafes in town is all included in the price.

At the end of the workshop you will take home a transformed piece of furniture (no bigger than a bedside) and the pot of paint you are using of your chosen colour as there should be some left to match an item from home as your next project.

A great way to meet like minded people or if you have a group of 4 people you can book a session as friends for a group activity or get together on a date that best suits you all.  Private sessions are also available on negotiable dates.

I will have dates set out under my workshop section please contact me via the contact page or subscribe to my mailing list to keep in the loop.

The photo is from my workshop that I completed in Mogo, it was heaps of fun and gave me inspiration to improve my skills.
