“Convergence” Original Abstract Painting

“Convergence” is a painting I created with the theme of the union between the rain Earth, it’s rivers bustling and bubbling after a good storm, not just any storm but the series of storms needed to break a drought. Originally coming from Tasmania rain is a plenty and I had never lived in a place that has experienced the great perils of drought. I learnt so much about how drought has a ripple effect in small rural communities and when the drought is over there is nothing more welcome and over whelming than the magical dance of rainstorms uniting with Earth, breaking the drought and healing itself like it were not so desolate a short time ago. “Convergence” is also a tale of my journey, like the land and the rivers were yearning for the rain I was yearning for a place to call home.
